It is a single vineyard Brunello di Montalcino, which is aged for a full 42 months in Allier oak casks and then 12 months in bottles in Mastrojanni's cellar. Schiena d'Asino has a characteristic dense, clear red color. The nose appears with notes of red fruits and balsamic vinegar. The taste starts strong and almost harsh, and ends with a generous elegant long aftertaste. Can be enjoyed with strong
