Notes of lemon peel and apricot skin give way to a distinctly flinty character reminiscent of struck stone, silex and graphite. There is a notable waxiness and mid palate richness to the wine, yet that textural weight is cut cleanly by briny freshness and a palpable mineral drive. The overall impression is
