Dyrlund was an artistic employee at A. Michelsen during the years 1901 1911. He designed the first Christmas Spoon. It bears no year, and it is unlikely that anyone at the time could have predicted that the spoon would be the first in a long series. The motif is the Christmas star. (The spoon has been turned 180 degrees so that the back has become the front)
