The metallic thread from Au ver a Soie is one of the few metallic threads that can be embroidered very well and does not fray. However, a threader is a great help. The metallic yarns in strength 4 go well with the silk yarns Soie d'Alger and Soie Gobelins, but they can also be processed well together with Soie Perle. Especially at Christmas time, metallic yarns set beautiful highlights.
