Most recently under the leadership of Billy Walker, the distillery first developed into an insider tip and later into an iconic brand. The single malts from Glendronach, which matured entirely in Spanish sherry casks, are particularly popular. Glendronach Port Wood matured for no time in a combination of former port and sherry casks.
