Spanning 15,600 hectares, the park is home to 730 plant species, including some that are rare, relict or of significant ecological and biogeographical interest. Our beekeeper, Ignazio Pizzoni, has his apiaries within the park. The area is a true paradise for bees thanks to its lush, vast forest of chestnut trees, oaks and elms.
