Shigeto - Intermission slowdive and deliberate ignorance ("Swamp Song")Detroit based Japanese American musician, DJ, label co founder, WDET 101. 9FM host, and longtime [l=Ghostly International] artist. Shigeto is Saginaw's middle name and his grandfather's name, a tribute to the Japanese branch of Saginaw's family tree. It also means "to grow". Raised in Detroit Ann Arbor, Saginaw spent three semesters studying jazz at the New School in NYC and three more in London, where he learned electronic production. He moved to
