It shows more power on the palate with firm tannins over a mid-weight but long-lasting mouthfeel

This too could use more depth but more should reasonably develop if given a chance

Chris Ringland, Hoffman Shiraz Size:6x750ml La Remissonne is the newReleased ahead of the 2009, reflecting the even, early vintage, the 2010 could not be more different. It's bursting with blackberry fruit on steroids joined by parma violet florals, followed by savoury layers of prune, liquorice and smoked meat. Dark, juicy and expressive, it has a very persistent salty, mineral finish supported by ripe, powerful tannins. It spent 62 months in 100% new French oak hogsheads.
