These are a staple requirement for any late C19th to early C20th productions and always difficult to find without zips or other modern embellishments. We decided to go for lace up rather than hooks even though they take longer to put on. The reason for this is that there have been too many predictable stage disasters involving laces tangling with the hooks of the opposing foot. There
