There is a wonderful sense of symmetry here with a silky elegant finish that is amazingly persistent

Chardonnay seems to play the leading role in 2004

Francois Carillon, Puligny Montrachet Vintage:2018 Very dense and velvety in(from 8 different lieux dits that total a whopping 5 ha). There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of passion fruit present on the acacia blossom and citrus peel inflected nose. There is again very good volume as well as a relatively sophisticated mouthfeel to the middle weight flavors where the seductive and lingering finish is supported by a moderately firm acid spine. This is an excellent Puligny villages and recommended.
