The map has been hand signed by Apollo 16 Lunar Module Pilot Charlie Duke, who added the inscription Apollo 11 CAPCOM near the Apollo 11 landing site at Tranquility Base. Before walking on the Moon during Apollo 16, Duke served as spacecraft communicator for Apollo 11 and was the voice in Mission Control guiding Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin
