DRC, Romanee Conti Vintage:2011 This is excellent but noteMild bricking. Plenty of secondary and sous bois notes are present on the cool, elegant and airy nose that reflects notes of spice, earth, dried flower and leather. The sleek, intense and rich medium bodied flavors are supported by bright acidity on the ever so slightly lean but highly persistent finish where the sense of minerality really builds as it sits on the palate. I would observe that, like a number of 2002s today, the palate is more youthful
