It applies constant compression to the ankle to remove edema. It is made of dual laminated neoprene interiorly and exteriorly with jersey. The neoprene has perforations which reduces excessive perspiration without losing body temperature. The elastic bandages that come with the product help to provide extra support to the ankle.
