Description
with bitter orange
This should both drink well young and reward 5 to 8 years of cellaring
finesse and filigreed purity that is reminiscent of slate and quartzite rather than deep clay
Quite evolved already (although this bottle has been in our fridge for longer than ideal – more than two weeks)
they introduced foudres for part of the wine
Trinity Hill, Homage Syrah Vintage:2014 with bitter orangeTasted blind. Shaded, polished garnet. Peppery, leathery nose. Very classic and rewarding. Great balance. Bone dry finish but perfect poise. Fresh and racy. Almost more like a mouthwash than a wine in a good way! Cool in every way. (This tasted like a dead ringer for Cte Rtie!) (JR)
