lengthy and well-balanced finale

tension and stimulating salinity

Against a background in vintage 2009 of wines that fermented rapidly for most growers

menthol and cigar box flavors

This is seriously impressive and is a wine that should age for decades and about the only nit is that the 2009 version is perhaps slightly less refined than other recent vintages

Antoine Jobard, Puligny Montrachet Trezin Vintage:2015 lengthy and well-balanced finale(from a . 17 ha parcel of 70+ year old vines). A different aromatic profile presents itself in the form of acacia blossom, essence of pear, lemongrass and a hint of spice. The rounder yet still quite energetic and detailed flavors exude a more subtle bead of minerality on the sappy and sneaky long finale. The old vines are in evidence and while this will need to develop a bit more depth, the potential very much appears to be present.
