Description
A moderate tarry spine runs through a core of dark plum and currant fruit
Fine-grained tannins sneak in very slowly and meld seamlessly with the energetic fruit
indeed the mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors is chiseled though the tannins shaping the short finish are grippy and serrated
It shows the typical Tildin pointedness
There is excellent volume and intensity to the concentrated and stony medium weight flavors that possess a really lovely sense of underlying tension
Montus, Madiran Prestige other_regions A moderate tarry spine runsStill quite dark crimson. Very south west France concentrated essence of Bordeauxish grape varieteies. Tannins have softened however, even if the colour doesn't seem to have evolved much. Just medium weight and strongly Tannat like with some rigidity. I would decant for quite a while before serving. Still seems to have lots of life. Very vibrant. Fresh though with a dry finish. Definitely needs food.
