This doesn’t have the style of the Bousselots but it’s appealing in its way

This should be even better in another year or two

Nicolas Potel, Chambertin Vintage:2002 Drink or holdVery generous wood presently dominates the nose, indeed to the point that I question whether there is enough mid palate sap to absorb it successfully. To be sure, this is no shrinking violet with big, rich and powerful flavors that really coat the mouth with both sap and tannins but this potentially risks drying out with time in bottle. A question mark for me. (90 93?) 2016+
