A 19th Century China Trade Secretaire Campaign Chest New Stock Splendens’ was built near theA large two part camphor wood with reeded ebony banding secretaire campaign chest. Three long graduated drawers below a mix of short drawers with the secretaire to the centre, bold turned feet, original brass carrying handles. Untouched surface, unrestored and of large scale. Circa 1850. H: 132 W: 113 D: 56 CM H: 52 W: 44 D: 22 INCHES. The majority of camphor wood campaign furniture is China Trade in origin. Produced for the Western market by Chinese
