Dating back to the Pleistocene, this Ice Age specimen measures ~5. 5" long and was found in Nebraska. This segment is the back of the skull, with the circular hole being the foramen magnum where the spinal cord passes through and connects with the brain. The spine would have connected to the bone surrounding the hole. The condition of this fossil gives a great opportunity to explore the
