Here too there is a mildly macerated nose but with better overall complexity as the layering is impressive and it carries over to the rich, full and very serious flavors that possess excellent mid palate concentration and focused power that is underpinned by very firm tannins that are bigger and slightly more rustic than those of the Charmes but there is also more buffering
