Before planting in the Tamar Valley, Matthias worked for Stefano Lubiana at the then newly purchased Panorama vineyard in the Huon. Matthias also makes wine for other producers in the Tamar Valley, a testament to his reputation as a fine winemaker. There is a lighter nuanced touch to the 24 pinot noir which I have seen in other producers
