They are made from broomcorn or Tampico and a non toxic dye. Despite how tiny they are, they do actually work as a broom but take almost the same amount of work as a larger broom. (The larger broom pictured here is our Tampico Turkey Tail that runs 6 7" is size.) **We do not use preservatives in the dye, so fading can occur if left in sunlight.
