Once Future, Bedrock Zinfandel Vintage:2017 Offers only modest density andThe 2017 Zinfandel Bedrock Vineyard comes from 129 year old vines, harvested August 31 and aged in 30% new French oak. "I bought this vineyard to save it from being ripped up in 2002," says winemaker Joel Peterson. "Morgan and I have been working on bringing it back since then, farming organically and rebuilding the soil. The oldest vines in the vineyard were planted by George Hirsch. This is probably about 85% Zinfandel with tons of other varieties."
