Gilbert Cellars Allobroges, 2022 sauvignon blanc Pezsgő “Henye”—Inspired by Huet’s reveredA blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvdre all from the Sugar Loaf Vineyard. The Gilbert family history is deep and long in the Yakima Valley where they have historically been farmers of apples, pears and stone fruits from the 1890s. Now fifth generation, the family bought a vineyard in 2002 and instead of tearing out the vines to plant more apples, they made a turn and ventured into wine. At first a hobby, this small winery with deep roots has become a
