Clear Quartz Crackle Point Blue Apatite This faceted stone is cutA polished crackle quartz point, roughly 1. 7 long. Clear quartz is pure crystalline silica. Crackle quartz is heated and then quickly cooled so a web of internal fractures opens inside the stone; those fractures catch and scatter light, giving the frosted, shattered ice look.
