Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond Ring inv 1107a A perfect "something blue" forFilled with a fire that sparks with cobalt and electric blue hues, this fine sapphire is from Sri Lanka, also called Old Ceylon. Sri Lanka is the source of the finest sapphire in the world, and this stone is no exception. The color is rich and deep, without being overly dark. There is plenty of fire in the center, and the cutting is expertly done. As with most of our precious gems, we purchased this stone on location during one of our frequent buying
