Remizieres, Hermitage Essentiel other_regions_australia (from a 2 ha parcel)The color shows maturity, but that is not represented in the wine, which is still youthful. On the nose, the perfume pops with extremely ripe, Port like aromas, with figs, black cherry liqueur, burnt toast and blackberry jam notes. On the palate, the wine is thick, fat, intense, concentrated, and lush. The wine feels like Port on your palate. It is long and packed with black cherry liqueur on the palate. The oak is slightly noticeable in the finish.
