The 2020 Kastanienbusch Riesling GG comes from a ripe vintage and shows intense light fruit

A ripe yet airy nose is comprised by a well-layered mix of red and dark berry fruit that is liberally laced with spice and floral nuances

(this has some young vines 1ers added to a blend of 90% Basses Maizières and 10% Les Vigneux)

The wine was vinified using 75% whole cluster and aged for around 21 months in 50% new French oak barrique and demi-muid and 50% used French barrique
